About Us
Kaleidoscope magazine is a multidisciplinary periodical that seeks to inform and encourage engagement among readers of all ages on a wide range of topics of Jewish and international interest.
Kaleidoscope is concerned about current trends toward populism, polarization and authoritarianism. The magazine reflects an open, inclusive and pluralistic approach, rooted in the ethos of the Habonim youth movement.
The magazine arose from online gatherings, over a number of years, of past and present members of Habonim Dror Southern Africa. The rich array of ideas and experiences shared in those sessions inspired the creation of this platform to sustain and expand this community.
